Remowork Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Remowork, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. This agreement forms a binding contract between you and Remowork regarding your use of the platform. If you are using the service on behalf of a business, organization, or another person, you represent that you have the authority to bind that party to these Terms. If you do not have such authority, or if you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using the service immediately.

We may present additional policies, notices, instructions, or feature-specific rules from time to time. Those supplemental materials form part of these Terms whenever they are clearly referenced by the platform. In the event of a conflict between a feature-specific rule and these general Terms, the feature-specific rule will control only to the extent of that conflict and only for the feature to which it relates.

2. Definitions and Scope

For clarity, references to "Remowork," "we," "us," and "our" mean the Remowork platform and the operators responsible for providing its services. References to "you" and "your" mean the person or entity using the service. A "survey" includes any questionnaire, screener, study, poll, panel task, or research activity made available through the platform, whether hosted directly by Remowork or by a third-party provider. "Partners" means the market research companies, survey providers, payment processors, verification providers, and technical vendors that help us operate the platform.

These Terms govern all platform use, including account creation, profile completion, survey invitations, participation in surveys, review of your activity, application of quality checks, reward issuance, withdrawal requests, identity verification, fraud prevention, and communications sent by Remowork in connection with your account. Nothing in these Terms guarantees that any particular feature, provider, survey category, or payout option will always remain available.

3. Eligibility and Registration

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to register for Remowork and to participate in surveys offered through the platform. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that an account was opened or operated by someone under 18, we may suspend or terminate the account immediately and may cancel associated earnings to the extent permitted by law.

Residency and Legal Capacity

You must also have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under the laws that apply to you. Some surveys may only be available in specific countries, regions, or demographic categories. Registration on the platform does not guarantee that you will qualify for any given research opportunity.

Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and throughout your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, country, profile details, payout details, and any responses you submit when we ask you to confirm your identity or eligibility. You must promptly update your information if it changes.

If we reasonably believe that you have provided false, misleading, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent information, we may restrict access to some or all features of the platform while we investigate. We may also refuse withdrawals, reverse pending credits, or close the account where inaccurate information affects survey integrity, fraud risk, legal compliance, or payment processing.

4. Account Security and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, access credentials, verification codes, and any device or browser session used to access your account. You agree not to share your account with any other person, whether directly or indirectly. Each account is personal to the approved user and may not be sold, transferred, rented, licensed, or made available to another individual.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account unless you notify us promptly of unauthorized access and cooperate fully with our security review. If you suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission, that your email has been compromised, or that your device has been used by a third party to manipulate your survey activity, you must contact us immediately at support@remowork.online.

We reserve the right to require password resets, re-authentication, additional identity checks, device validation, or temporary access restrictions where reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain platform integrity, respond to suspicious behavior, or comply with our obligations to partners.

5. Nature of the Service

Remowork is a survey and research participation platform. We connect eligible users with available research opportunities from Remowork and from third-party partners. We do not promise that surveys will always be available, that any survey will remain open for a certain period, or that you will qualify for any particular activity. Survey inventory may change rapidly based on demand, client quotas, geographic restrictions, fraud controls, demographic targets, time sensitivity, and partner decisions that are outside our direct control.

Access to the platform may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, security events, network issues, partner outages, verification checks, or technical problems. We may add, remove, suspend, revise, or discontinue features at any time. We also reserve the right to decline access in specific locations, for specific providers, or for categories of traffic that create compliance, fraud, or technical risk.

6. Surveys and Participation Rules

Survey participation is invitation-based, availability-based, or both. A survey listed in your dashboard is not a guarantee that you will be accepted into the study, complete the study, or receive compensation. Many surveys include one or more screening stages. You may be screened out before the main questionnaire begins, or you may be removed if the provider determines that the quota is full, the study has ended, the demographics no longer match, or the quality checks were not satisfied.

By participating in surveys through Remowork, you agree to answer honestly, attentively, and consistently. You also agree to follow any specific instructions shown within the survey, including time expectations, content warnings, confidentiality requests, or technical requirements such as use of a mobile device, webcam, microphone, or a stable internet connection.

Some survey providers apply their own rules, eligibility standards, and review processes. When you enter a third-party hosted survey through Remowork, you may also become subject to that provider's operational rules and data handling procedures. Remowork is not responsible for content that appears inside third-party surveys beyond the extent required by applicable law, and we cannot guarantee that every provider will approve or credit every attempt.

7. Response Quality, Screening, and Validation

Our partners depend on reliable, high-quality answers. For that reason, you acknowledge and agree that survey responses may be reviewed for quality, consistency, authenticity, completion, and compliance. This review may be automated, manual, or a combination of both. We and our partners may analyze completion speed, answer patterns, open-text quality, IP behavior, device behavior, location indicators, cookie signals, browser fingerprints, prior activity, duplicate submissions, and profile consistency.

You may be screened out, rejected, flagged, or disqualified if your answers appear random, contradictory, excessively fast, copied, machine-generated, deceptive, or otherwise unsuitable for research use. Disqualification from one survey may also affect your ability to access future opportunities where patterns suggest low-quality or fraudulent behavior.

• Submitting thoughtful but unsuccessful screening responses does not always entitle you to payment unless the survey explicitly provides partial compensation.
• Starting a survey does not create a guaranteed right to receive the listed reward.
• Where a provider declines to credit a submission due to screening, quota closure, technical duplication, or quality review, we may be unable to pay the reward.
• We may place credits on hold while a provider review is pending, especially when additional anti-fraud checks or reconciliation steps are required.

8. Rewards, Credits, and Earnings

Survey rewards are displayed in advance when known, but all credits remain conditional until the corresponding survey attempt is successfully recorded, accepted by the applicable system, and not later reversed due to quality review, fraud review, duplicate detection, provider rejection, technical error, or policy breach. Earnings shown in your account are platform balances and not bank deposits, stored-value accounts, or guaranteed debt instruments.

We may adjust, delay, withhold, or reverse credits where there is a good-faith reason to believe that the credit was issued in error, obtained in breach of these Terms, based on a provider misfire, associated with duplicated or manipulated activity, or otherwise unsupported by valid and compliant participation. If a reward is reversed after it was previously displayed in your account, we may reduce your available balance accordingly.

Remowork is not responsible for lost earnings caused by survey provider outages, unexpected survey termination, browser crashes, unsupported devices, unstable connectivity, user-side interruptions, blocked scripts, incompatible browser settings, or technical failures outside our reasonable control. We may review such cases, but we cannot promise compensation in every instance.

9. Withdrawals, Payout Methods, and Identity Verification

The minimum withdrawal threshold on Remowork is $5.00 unless we clearly state a different threshold for a specific payout method, promotion, country, or payment channel. Available payout methods may include PayPal, bank transfer, M-Pesa, or other methods we choose to support. Payout availability may depend on your location, currency restrictions, local regulation, partner availability, sanctions screening, or operational risk checks.

Before your first withdrawal, and at any later time if risk or compliance conditions require it, you may be asked to complete identity verification through our secure verification partner, Persona, or through another approved provider. You agree to cooperate fully with those checks and to provide accurate documents, selfies, or other requested materials. Failure to complete verification, failure to pass verification, refusal to cooperate with lawful review requests, or submission of misleading documents may result in withdrawal denial, account restriction, account closure, and forfeiture of earnings where permitted by law and necessary to prevent fraud.

Withdrawal processing times are estimates only. We do not guarantee that a payout will arrive within any exact timeframe. Delays may arise from payment processor review, banking cutoffs, provider downtime, identity review, compliance review, national holidays, regional payment restrictions, or mismatched payout details. You are responsible for ensuring that your payout information is accurate and that you are legally entitled to use the selected payout method.

• We may reject or cancel a withdrawal request if the available balance is insufficient or if the balance is under review.
• We may temporarily lock payouts while investigating suspected fraud, abuse, payment anomalies, or inconsistent account data.
• Fees charged by third-party payment processors, banks, or mobile money operators may reduce the final amount received by you.
• We may require additional confirmation before processing unusually large, unusual, or repetitive withdrawal requests.

10. Taxes and Personal Responsibility

You are solely responsible for determining whether any rewards, payouts, or other amounts received from Remowork must be reported for tax purposes in your jurisdiction and for paying all taxes, duties, levies, or similar obligations associated with your use of the platform. Remowork does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or accounting advice. If required by law, we may ask for additional tax information, withhold amounts, or provide records to relevant authorities or payment partners.

You are also responsible for your own hardware, device compatibility, operating system, internet access, browser setup, antivirus protection, and data usage charges. Participation in surveys may consume bandwidth and may require access to particular device features. Any cost you incur to use the service is your responsibility unless we expressly state otherwise.

11. Prohibited Conduct and Fraud Prevention

To protect the integrity of our research ecosystem, you agree not to engage in prohibited conduct. The following list is illustrative rather than exhaustive. Conduct that creates similar risk, even if not listed word-for-word below, may still violate these Terms.

• Creating multiple accounts for yourself, for the same household, or for any person who has not genuinely and independently agreed to use the platform.
• Buying, selling, leasing, sharing, or transferring accounts, balances, devices, verification credentials, or payout access.
• Using bots, macros, scripts, browser automation, emulators, remote device farms, machine-generated responses, or any automated means to access or complete surveys.
• Using VPNs, proxies, Tor, spoofed GPS signals, manipulated IP routing, location masking, device masking, or any method designed to hide your true identity or location.
• Submitting inconsistent, deceptive, copied, fabricated, or intentionally low-quality answers, including answers designed solely to pass screeners without reflecting truthful responses.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, probe, scrape, overload, interfere with, hack, destabilize, or adapt the platform or any connected survey provider system.
• Uploading malware, malicious scripts, harmful links, or any content intended to compromise systems or harvest credentials.
• Bypassing quotas, repeat restrictions, provider rules, or our technical safeguards by manipulating cookies, browsers, devices, accounts, or network identity.
• Abusing support channels, threatening staff, impersonating other users, or submitting false complaints to pressure manual credits.

We may use internal tools, provider feedback, third-party fraud detection, and manual review to investigate suspicious activity. You acknowledge that fraud prevention is essential to maintaining survey access and partner trust, and you agree that we may take protective action quickly where credible indicators of abuse exist.

12. Privacy and Data Handling

Your privacy is important to us. Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and by the disclosures presented when specific data is collected. By using Remowork, you understand that we may collect registration details, contact details, profile information, device and browser data, survey activity records, support communications, and information needed for payouts, risk review, and verification. We may also receive data from partners regarding survey status, screening outcomes, and quality checks.

We may share relevant information with trusted partners when necessary to operate the service, prevent fraud, process payments, verify identity, deliver surveys, comply with law, or investigate abuse. Survey responses may be shared in anonymous, pseudonymous, aggregated, or otherwise research-appropriate form with market research partners. Some surveys may collect sensitive information, and you should read any provider disclosures shown before participating.

We may retain account and activity records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the platform, resolve disputes, enforce these Terms, comply with legal obligations, support audit trails, and maintain anti-fraud controls. Even after account closure, some records may be retained where required for security, accounting, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes.

13. Communications and Notices

By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from us related to your account, surveys, verification, withdrawals, support requests, legal notices, system alerts, fraud prevention, and operational updates. These messages may be sent by email, in-product notification, SMS, or other reasonable communication methods associated with your account, subject to applicable law.

You are responsible for monitoring the inboxes and devices associated with your account and for keeping your contact information current. We are not responsible if you miss an important notice because your email inbox is full, your spam filter blocks our message, your phone number changed, or your account contact information is outdated.

Marketing communications may be subject to separate preferences or opt-out controls where required by law. However, you may still receive essential transactional or security messages even if you opt out of promotional content.

14. Intellectual Property and Platform Rights

The Remowork website, brand, logos, interface design, text, code, software, page structure, graphics, databases, workflows, and related materials are owned by Remowork or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property and unfair competition laws. Except for the limited right to use the service for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms, no license or ownership right is transferred to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, scrape, decompile, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any portion of the platform except as expressly permitted by us in writing or as required by non-waivable law. Survey content made available by third-party partners may also be protected by their own intellectual property rights, and you agree not to reuse or disclose that content beyond what is reasonably necessary to complete the survey.

15. Suspension, Restriction, and Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where permitted, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the platform if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, posed a fraud or compliance risk, interfered with the platform, abused our partners, used false information, failed verification, or otherwise engaged in conduct inconsistent with the intended use of Remowork. We may also suspend access where required by law, court order, payment processor rules, sanctions screening, or security response procedures.

Suspension may be temporary while we conduct a review, or it may become permanent if the issue is confirmed or if you fail to respond adequately to a lawful request for information. During suspension, we may limit your ability to log in, start surveys, view balances, or request withdrawals. If an account is terminated for cause, any accumulated earnings that have not been paid out may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law and where necessary to prevent unjust enrichment, fraud, or partner chargebacks.

You may stop using the platform at any time. If you want your account closed, you may contact support. Account closure does not automatically entitle you to immediate payout of pending or disputed balances, and we may continue to retain records as described elsewhere in these Terms.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Remowork platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties and representations, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, quiet enjoyment, or uninterrupted service.

We do not warrant that the platform will always be secure, error-free, continuously available, timely, or free from harmful components; that survey opportunities will always exist; that any survey provider will accept your participation; that any displayed earnings will remain unchanged until withdrawal; or that defects will always be corrected immediately. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Remowork and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, data, savings, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the platform, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we are not liable for losses resulting from survey provider decisions, screening outcomes, quality rejections, technical crashes, payout processor delays, account takeovers caused by your failure to secure your credentials, unsupported devices, network outages, malware on your device, or government restrictions affecting payments or platform availability.

To the extent that liability cannot be fully excluded, our aggregate liability to you for claims arising out of or relating to the platform will not exceed the total amount of successfully withdrawn earnings actually paid by Remowork to you during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (USD 100), whichever is less, unless a higher amount is required by non-waivable law.

18. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Remowork and its affiliates, personnel, service providers, and partners from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the platform, your breach of these Terms, your fraud, your violation of law, your infringement of any third-party rights, or any inaccurate information or content you provide through the platform.

This obligation applies whether the claim is brought by a partner, another user, a regulator, a payment processor, or another third party affected by your conduct. We reserve the right to assume control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate fully with us.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect legal requirements, service improvements, risk controls, operational changes, partner requirements, or changes in our business model. The updated version will be posted on this page together with the effective date. In some cases, we may also provide additional notice through email or an in-platform message.

Your continued use of Remowork after revised Terms take effect means that you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised version, you must stop using the platform before the revised Terms become effective or, where no future effective date is given, immediately after the update is posted.

We may not be able to discuss details of internal fraud controls, provider scoring systems, or confidential partner review criteria, but we will review legitimate account questions in good faith and respond within a reasonable time based on support volume and issue complexity.
